Member xelby2 Posted November 17, 2016 Member Report Share Posted November 17, 2016 Hi Still trying to wrap my head around this program. Just bought it a week or two ago and doing my first character. I have imported geo into 3Dcoat and know how to unwrap. Just I can't hide part of the mesh easily. The character is made up of several sections that I sort of need to go inside to pick the seems better. Hair and top especially. Is there anyway of hiding parts of the mesh? Also there seems to be a cluster of seems on the arm, even after pressing clearing seams. Any advice would be great. This is for a uni project due soon (still to rig!) Member xelby2 Posted November 17, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted November 17, 2016 Getting there..worked out ctrl clicking on uv island de selects them. Still looking for an easier way to select different bits of geo as right now I am having to zoom in and it's pretty hectic. Update for ref. Carlosan
If you need to make a new uvset for your model, is better to do that task in the Retopo room. UV room is used to modify the existing UVset of any model previously loaded at Paint Room for painting process.
