Member LudvikKoutny Posted January 3, 2018 Member Report Share Posted January 3, 2018 Hello, I am having a difficulty to figure out how to end a stroke in Vertex Line brush mode to start a new one. Right mouse button opens a context menu, so the only logical option to end stroke placement mode is Esc key. However, when ending stroke in Vertex Line mode using Esc key, when placing a new set of strokes, after initial placement, one additional stroke is created from the place where the last stroke was ended. So I can not figure out how to tell 3Dcoat to start a new stroke instead of connecting it to the old one. Here's a video of the problem: Thanks in advance. Carlosan
Hi LMB click to place a vertex, repeat to place more that one. Once you place a second or higher vertex, the stroke will be applied. Then press ESC and repeat the procedure to start a new stroke instead of connecting it to the old one. Member LudvikKoutny Posted January 4, 2018 Author Member Report Share Posted January 4, 2018 Hi, yes, that is exactly what I am doing - pressing escape. Yet, the thing shown in the video still happens. Even after pressing Escape, starting a new stroke will connect stroke to an end of the previous one. Carlosan
Please try double clicking LMB after latest vertex placed.
