Member Peter Spence Posted May 8, 2018 Member Share Posted May 8, 2018 I love the reference plane and how it can be set up to lock in place. However, the current model I'm building only has a 45 degree view reference artwork available. Is it possible to rotate the reference plane to other angles that the standard 90 degrees? Kind regards, Peter Spence Putty StudiosCharacters and Visual Effects www.PuttyStudios.com
Carlosan
You can rotate to any value using command Rotate.
Member Peter Spence Posted May 11, 2018 Author Member Share Posted May 11, 2018 Well, I tried that before, but couldn't get it to rotate on anything other than the horizontal axis. The three-quarter view artwork I have for modelling reference is the correct way up. I need to angle it on the vertical axis so that it will match up with my sculpt. (I'm using symmetry, so can't just sculpt at a rotated offset.) Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
