New Member Init3342 Posted August 12, 2020 New Member Report Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi, I am trying to develop a workflow from Blender -> 3DC -> Unity using FBX. In unity when I import my FBX from blender the origins of my model are fine: However when I go through 3DC and export as FBX the origins are changed! In 3DC version 9.55 I do the following: Paint: File -> Import Object -> import the FBX file from blender Paint: File -> export objects and textures Notice I tick the "Use Source Positions". How is it that these positions are able to change if this is ticked?? I have tried so many permutations of blender export settings and 3DC export settings. I can only manage to get it working if I import the FBX from blender into Unity. As soon as 3DC touches it, the FBX origins become corrupted. I have uploaded the blender file, blender exported FBX and 3DC exported FBX. testing3dc.fbx testing.blend testing.fbx
Carlosan
Use Source Positions means Use Vertex original-Source Positions. I dont know which was your import settings, as workaround use the model exported for Blender and add the textures generated by 3DCoat.
