New Member snowtail Posted August 23, 2021 New Member Report Share Posted August 23, 2021 When using the smart retopo tool, if you have the weld option with high weld tolerance, it is applied to the whole model creating pinching every time and destroying most of your process in areas that require fine detail. Carlosan
Hi Yes, it can happen if the model is very small.

New Member snowtail Posted August 23, 2021 Author New Member Report Share Posted August 23, 2021 oh i love 3d coat, i have been using it for about 3 years now and this new version is so hecking awesome, i think only new vertices created by smart retopo should look for vertices to weld, and not the whole model, because it can become an issue with models that have areas that require more density. i had to redo fine detail areas of my retopology yesterday not knowing what was the issue, and if im having that problem then other users will, eventually.
