Advanced Member SonK Posted May 13, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Using the per pixel painting in Alpha 82, and i love that you can load a black and white specular map and paint on it, but some game engine do support color specular maps along with the traditional black/white maps. So i would love to be able to load a color specular into 3DC and paint it.
Advanced Member Roger_K Posted May 14, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 A map to control the glossyiness component would be killer aswell.
Andrew Shpagin
I plan to make one expansion in future - some layer can be marked with special color operation - like color specular or emissive etc. These layers will be treated in other way then others and you will be able to handle many different channels. But not just now, slightly later. Hopefully 3DC has frequent updating mechanism

I would definitely use both color specular and emissive maps and will definitely appreciate this feature when it arrives.
