Auto UV of no use due to rotating of the shells

There is no point to the auto UV as it rotates shells.

When you apply a smart material (say wood grain) in Substance painter you find that the grain is all over the place.

So you then have to find the shell that is rotated and then hope you have  rotated it the right way.

And I just spent 2 hours hand cutting a mesh only to find Coat crashing when I apply the UV set.

Total waste of my time.

He is working on auto-mapping development, your report will be very helpful.
