As 3D-Coat only one man made it! Michael Gibson (It's one father of Rhino 3D) It was created for work with only a graphic pen! Cool for artists designer architects gale designer etc... (but you can use the mouse too It has a perfect line drawing aspect! It has the best mesher Nurbs--->OBJ Works only for PC (even very old ! ) It works perfectly with 3D Coat if you want Import: 3dm, igs, iges, sat, stp, step, Illustrator(ai, pdf, eps) Export: 3dm, igs, iges, sat, stp, step, stl, OBJ (mlt), 3ds, fbx, skp, lwo, ai Have fun with it! Contributor artman Posted June 24, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted June 24, 2009 MOI3D is great, very powerfull and an ideal companion to 3DCoat voxels. Because it generates really crisp quality .obj but they have too much triangles to be used in zb/mb while with 3DC voxels triangles aren't a problem at all.The network option to create objects is really intuitive and fast, you can also create loft objects using splines with different vertex count, something I always felt was holding back loft objects creation when using polygonal modeling. The price is also cool.

Advanced Member Digital777 Posted June 24, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 24, 2009 This looks like an amazing program. The website is bad though and makes it look like it's some out of date app. It has no feature overview for starters and a boring layout, the forum looks like it would be really annoying to use etc. If they made the website better with feature overview, news and tutorials etc and had a nice forum like 3DC it would probably be really popular. Yes Forum seems very basic and rustic but in fact very efficient! Why? Because it's Michael who answer to all questions of anybody with a lot of detail (never seen that in any forum) Every days every hours, days after days, hours after hours! Another thing, it's Michael who has made the forum! And don't you think he had not made the best thing for his use to him? It's more important to code the source prog than the Forum! I am in this forum since the beginning and trust me it's very efficient! All members have complaint sat the beginning but after use it all are satisfy You have a perfect doc Online! And some resources So not so difficult to use it And if you have any difficulties you have Michael in direct! What do want more?

Frenchy Pilou
haha made me smile. the app looks very interesting maybe like sketchup. a designers program. Yes it has the same easy ergonomic ! (even more) And has the advantage to make perfect boolean operations at any sizes that a polygon prog can't make! Because a circle is always polygons in subdivision modeler polygon progs!
