New Member broke shins Posted September 12, 2023 New Member Report Share Posted September 12, 2023 When I install 3DCoat and open it up. Works great. I drag the 3DCoat Window to my cintiq tablet to work on it. Still works great. I close 3DCoat, and I try to start it up again, a window opens on my cintiq but 3Dcoat stops responding, so all I can do is close the app. The only way I can get 3Dcoat open again on my cintiq is by renaming the "3DCoat" folder in docs. But then it opens on my main monitor. So the only way I can get restart 3DCoat without renaming the folder is by dragging the 3Dcoat window back to my main monitor to close it. otherwise if I close the app on my cintiq, it will not start up. I've already installed it as an administrator and I set 3Dcoat to run as administrator, Is there some weird compatibility thing going on? Any help is welcome. Again apologies for the lengthy description, I'm happy to clarify
Solution Carlosan Posted September 12, 2023 Solution Report Share Posted September 12, 2023 Hi The problem occurs if you move the application to 2nd monitor (Cintiq) and close it while on that screen ? If yes: then move the app back to your primary monitor, save document, close it, and it'll relaunch. Is the problem solved ?
New Member broke shins Posted September 12, 2023 Author New Member Report Share Posted September 12, 2023 Yes that works. But I was wondering if there was something I could do so that I wouldn't have to keep dragging the app back to my primary monitor to close it and relaunch. Or is this something that just happens when you use a secondary monitor?
Carlosan
Yes, happens when you use a secondary monitor+cintiq. This issue is in todolist to be resolve by dev team.
