I find that using the Surface Dial for changing the brush size in 3DCoat is so smooth and allows me to easily change the brush size without touching the keyboard. The issue lies when you press and hold the Surface Dial down to bring up the tools menu, then all hell breaks loose where the Surface Dial stops working in 3DCoat. It seems like there's some official Microsoft documentation here for adding support for the Surface Dial here:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/design/input/radialcontroller-walkthrough I've also wasted so much time and money looking for alternatives that has a similar look to the Surface Dial and none exists. The Surface Dial is truly an underrated tool for 2D/3D artists and it's a shame that there aren't enough software applications that support it.
