Boole scale Offset for working parts

Hi

Im wondering if there is some kind of Boole scale off set for the likes of screws that will fit into a booled thread, guide rods that should be slightly smaller than the boole.  Im 3d printing some  objects that function so this offset is a must.  I am currently having to make a duplicate of everything I do so make booles slighty larger than the part that will fit into it.

Try making instances and giving negative values to the main mesh using the extrude command

Thanks for your reply.  Is there any videos or documentation on doing this, Im new to 3DCoat, and doing a search in the manual comes up with nothing for me?
