Member awhawkins Posted February 19 Member Share Posted February 19 I just updated version 2024.07 where it says this tool was introduced. However, I cannot find it under objects in the Sculpt Room as shown in the video. Was it placed somewhere else?
Carlosan
Yes, is under Object on voxel and surface mode Try resetting to default. Sometimes it solve the issue.
Member awhawkins Posted February 20 Member Share Posted February 20 Tried the "Reset to Default Settings" but this did not fix the issue. Any other suggestions?
Member awhawkins Posted February 20 Member Share Posted February 20 I also did a clean install and that did not fix the problem. I was however able to complete 2024.07 update my laptop the Multiple Objects available in the Objects panel.

Try this...close 3DCoat > open MY DOCUMENTS/3DCOAT/USER PREFS/ROOMS >delete or temporarily rename the CUSTOM ROOMS folder. There was/is something in the Custom Rooms configs that makes it not appear. Hopefully that will get fixed in the next build.

However on build 2024.19 if you go to the Nurbs room and use the 'surface to mesh' I get a instability warning and immediate crash every time. This is a really cool feature, please look into it. I create the surface and select surface to mesh and click ok. The instability warning and then the crash dialogue.

Advanced Member insignet Posted August 24 Advanced Member Share Posted August 24 @Gorbatovsky Could you help? Working with curves in the Modelling Room. I cannot get the 'cut' curves tool to work. I think it supposed to work like a Knife tool to click and drag across existing curves to split them? Nothing happens (build 2024.26) Also with same build, the Pen circle tool works, but if you delete all previous curves and re-select the Pen Circle (with no active curve layers present) it does not show the Pen radius, you have to click the 'on Plane' checkbox for it to work? The normal of the circle plane is perpendicular to the screen plane or parallel to the surface normal or the normal of the working plane (if it enabled) 2 hours ago, insignet said: I cannot get the 'cut' curves tool to work This tool is create slice of sculpt mesh or low poly mesh.
