Taros
Please post your ideas for the new sketch tool here. My feature request: - Greyscale image information defines the thickness of an object. - The thickness should not be cutted by other axis images. It should "follow the shape", depending on the object thickness. The thicker the area, the deeper the structure. (hope you know what I mean?) - Black color still means: no voxels (transparent) Regards Chris
Contributor LJB Posted July 27, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 YEs Taros if Greyscale values could control the Depth that would be how i would expect the tool to work and would really open the possiblllities further. You would of coarse have to be able to modulate the scale of the depth, this could be achieved with a slider UI , Also you would have to be able to control the O value of the images with a control to nonimate the base value. All this i would think would be quite easy to achieve as we already use Grayscale alpha to mask. that way we could work with Othographic photogaraphs and the mirror result along axis, Would be a HOT feature.
