was piddlin in Archipelis 2 and wondered how it would work out if I imported the model that I created in Archipelis 2 into 3DCoat, so that I could touch up on my painting (Archipelis 2 has a fill bucket but no paint brushes) and smooth my model out a tad...so I tried it.I imported it into 3DCoat as a 'paint per pixel'..the entire process turned out really well from start to finish for being a first time try at it....when I imported my model into 3DCoat as an .obj, even tho I hadn't merged all the parts before I exported it out of Archipelis 2, it imported into 3dCoat as a group, but with no layers,,....but even so, 3DCoat still let me use the fill bucket for seperate colors on each part of the model that had been seperated (unmerged) in Archipelis 2...so that was great.... this was mostly just a test run of modelling in Archipelis 2 and import/paint/smooth in 3DCoat,(and I'm still learning how to operate Archipelis 2) ,so it's just a really simple free-hand model that I built for this test-run...but just thought I'd go ahead n post it... , drinks.gif

this is my model before exporting from Archipelis 2.....
