Member barKochba Posted December 2, 2009 Member Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 Sup guys, heard about 3d coat from some people at work and since I'm usually animating, I thought I'd give modeling another try for the hell of it! Here's my boy, Cthulhu (based off the popular statue) Toes and fingers and tentacle penii need some love. don't worry, it will get there. All crits welcome. Applink Developer haikalle Posted December 3, 2009 Applink Developer Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Even it's a monster, I have to say that it's beatiful. Man, you have done a amazing job with this one. Strong legs looks really cool.
Advanced Member Calabi Posted December 3, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Very awesome, hands seem a bit big but it is a monster. Was it all modelled in 3dCoat?
Member barKochba Posted December 3, 2009 Author Member Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Thanks for the compliments It's been awhile since modeling a character but with this program, it's all sorts of fun again! I started with a low poly "basic human" model from Max and then just went from there, I plan on painting it and making a cinematic mid-level model and a lower game-quality model.
