Guest Guest Posted August 19, 2007 Report Share Posted August 19, 2007 I have a question that may be a little off topic: as far as the polygonal detail goes, If I were to make a tangent map of this for the original low-poly model, would all of the detail be recorded onto it for use in a game, as an example? Yes, tangent (normal) map records all the details (only big displacement will be missed). The model will be seen in game like you see it on the screenshot.
