Member Keating Posted March 26, 2010 Member Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 I have an object that I would like to unwrap, but it has some geometry which goes inside another bit of geometry. Is there a way to make an object transparent or semi transparent in order to select hidden edges and create seams? I could use the hide tool, but it's a little time consuming considering I just want to select an interior edge. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Javis
Unfortunately not. The hide tool is the only option. I have this on my list of feature requests, so I'll point Andrew here as well to show there is more then one person who supports transparency controls for retopo meshes. philnolan3d
Actually even if it was semi-transparent I don't think you would be able to select inside the mesh.

Member Keating Posted March 27, 2010 Author Member Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 Thanks guys, I guess I'll see if I can find a workaround. I find the Hide tool tends to leave faces hanging around that are difficult to select. I appreciate the help!
