Member antisymmetry Posted September 18, 2010 Member Report Share Posted September 18, 2010 Hello, Is there any way to adjust the opacity of the retopo mesh in the retopo room? I would like to see the reference mesh underneath the retopo mesh a little bit better. Thanks, James
Javis
Hi James! Unfortunately not at the moment, but it's a much asked for feature. I shall forward this to Andrew.
Member antisymmetry Posted September 19, 2010 Author Member Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 Hello geothefaust, That sounds great! I really like 3d Coat. It is one of the only programs that make retopologizing fun. The retopo tools and their functions are well thought out and designed. Your training videos are excellent. It is great to have so many training resources available for a program like 3d Coat. It really reduces the whole learning curve. Thank you, James
Javis
Hey thanks for the kind words and for picking up the training! Appreciate it. 3DC is pretty awesome. It can only get better with features such as this added to the bag of tricks.
Member 3DTutorial Posted June 23, 2012 Member Report Share Posted June 23, 2012 I know that this is a very old request but I'd like to bring it up once again. I can't tell you how often I have the need to adjust the opacity of the retopo mesh... sometimes it is very hard or impossible to see what is happening on the reference model surface and being able to alter the opacity is crucial. Has anything ever been done to improve this limitation? Please, please, please I beg of you, can we please have the ability to change the opacity of the retopo mesh? Cheers, Joe
