New Member hughesy Posted May 24, 2011 New Member Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Sorry I am new to coat but have used several other paint packages. I want to know if it is possible to export a color layer as a .tif. I am not getting the option in the drop down menu. Is there a patch to allow for this option? I don't want to have to export a psd then save the texture as a .tif. Any help would be great Thanks.
Taros
Hello. Just look at Textures->Export->Diffuse Map and choose the file format as soon as the file window appears. Best wishes Chris

New Member hughesy Posted May 26, 2011 Author New Member Report Share Posted May 26, 2011 Hi Chris, I tried that but there is no tif option in the drop down menu when I export the diffuse map. I was wondering if there was a plugin for coat or a preference setting I am supposed to set. Thanks Hello. Just look at Textures->Export->Diffuse Map and choose the file format as soon as the file window appears. Best wishes Chris
Javis
Hi there! Which version are you using? Only the most recent versions have this option. I believe 3.5.19+ can do this.
Taros
Javis is right. Update your version to use it if you like. I am using always the newest beta and forgot, when this option was implemented.
