Advanced Member Spiraloid Posted July 27, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 27, 2011 I have the same problem. the weird thing is that on one machine, both version 19 and 21A run fine, on the other they both hitch and are unusable. it seems like if the brush is large, the shadows are turned on, or I work for a while. it starts hitching. quiting and restarting fixes. also clearing the cache seems to fix it temporarily. different cuda versions perhaps? both machines are win7 64 machines with gtx 480's Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andrew Shpagin Posted July 29, 2011 Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 Pay attention what snapping method is used (on the top line). If it is Snap to nearest it may become really laggy (so it should be used carefully, only when realy need that sort of snapping). Use "Snap to closest along normal" in regular work.
