You are right, this bug was reported. Meantime use the Legacy version, low resolution are working ok on Legacy Version. -

I updated to 2026.17, if this is not the place to put the bugs, let me know.... otherwise: I created a two UV sets, one is 2k and the other is 128x128. They look good on the UV editor, but when I go to paint, the 128x128 does not show anything. If I change the scale to 1024x1024 (have not tried any other lower) it works and shows up and I can paint. Is this a bug/limitation? Or, am I doing something wrong with the new UI / Layout / process -

I see the same issue on 2026.17 version. I do have the 5.0 app version and it works lol sometimes. -

I'd just like to say that I updated from 2026.06 to 2026.17 and what a difference. In 06 nothing worked I was really being forced to slog through painfully but 17 is amazing and very very solid feeling, it feels really slick and professional. -

I have issue in Painting Room the Normal layer type does not stay as Normal it switches back to Standard blend 2016.17NS Windows 10. Also even though I have switched them to Normal and they are acting as normal when I save , when I load the project back in they are set to Standard Blend not Normal. 3DCoatGL64_Tq5t2oUWoh.mp4 -

3Dcoat Documentation Nodes in general. This is lagging big time along with other documentation. Im not sure why this isnt kept up to date. Example SimpleMask node. Documentation only shows 1 output. In reality theres a lot of sockets. Ive seen comments, "the Degree Map in Node inspector is missing". Well its changed and not documented. -

Dont really want to export, I want to save from the node area and create a new custom SM material from nodes. I can export textures and object At then the author saves the node set to SM materials. But the issue is the only item saved is the color. This defeats the purpose of spending all that time to create the material only to save out one layer. I need all layers saved out. I have multiple parts I need to bring in and texture all the same. Nodes should be when saved it should combine all layers into one then save. -

Watched the intro video. After creating the desired texture which included rust, dirt etc. The author saved out the texture. Problem is only the layer group active gets saved. How do you save out all the layers for the texture? -

what are your specs ? believe it or not i had alot of problems when i was using amd over nvidia , they would sometimes cause weird bakes etc -

I have, and it almost works. When I try to use in the web, I get an error. I can load into Blender as Glb then export from Blender as Glb and it works. To test yourself, you can try uploading glbs made in 3dcoat to this website. I get an error when I try. Ideally, it would just work straight from 3DCoat. https://sandbox.babylonjs.com/
