Since v.08 3DC is compatible with RS 2.0. Are you using that version or a later one ? 3DCoat-2025-08 Thu Jun 19 08:51:04 2025 - Initial (first) loading speed issues fixed (related to Python modules loading). - RealityScan 2.0 is used as the default photogrammetry engine -

Same problem as MkIII_X, even setting the instal path to realityscan doesn't really seem to do anything so i'll use the standalone in the meantime but it's a bit of a bummer to not be able to use realityscan in 3dcoat -

Alright, so you need a very high res mesh around 100 million polys. Then right click and export as... When dialog opens up set it 95 percent. It should not matter if you export from a volume or a surface. But thats really it. And it works perfectly if I use the top bar menu to do the same. Then I will export the mesh without decimating. -

I think it's a bit to big to share here 3.5 GB. It happens with all large photogrammetry meshes, pretty much. But only in the decimate dialog I get when I export. If I do it inside of 3Dcoat it works fine. -

Hello friends! I have a voxel object that I wish to mirror, but I want the result of the mirror operation to be placed on its own separate layer and not automatically merged. How do I achieve this? Thanks ! Joe -

Installing 3d coat 2025 through Lutris(wine 10.0), it performs as good as the native linux version and even better and smoother, very stable by far. For both native linux version and wine installed, 'Incremental render' needs to be turned off to have good performance despite the description saying that turning it on provides large performance boost. If it's on, the cursor will get stuck at the beginning/end randomly of every stroke. Kinda weird. -

Ok a bit more testing and it seems the decimation is still broken. But it still havent crashed yet, so thats good. -
