  1. FYI, the license has been transferred to someone else, so it's not available anymore.
  2. Thanks everyone for your comments and help, that's great! I've sent you an email Lars, it's good to know that someone else can still make use of the license, instead of letting it go to waste.
  3. I'm retiring from 3D for various reasons, one of the main ones is permanent health problems, I need to cut back on using computers. I was just confirmed that I can sell the license to someone else, so if someone is interested in getting 3D-Coat V3, the let know. Asking price is $175, payment through Paypal, seems the easiest to me.
  4. Thanks for letting me know, I'll follow the steps given. It's due to permanent health issues that I've got to cut down computer usage a lot and look for other things to do.
  5. I've got a question..... I'm retiring 3D and I was wondering if I can sell my 3D-Coat Pro V3 license to someone else? If yes, how would that work? Do I need to contact someone for the transferal?
  6. Congrats with the birth of your son! God bless you, your family and this little one.
  7. Thanks for the reply, I'm assuming this doesn't work in the paint mode?
  8. Can an axis be locked in 3D Coat? I've got a model and I only want to rotate it around one axis, for example the y one. Can I somehow lock the others so it will only do that?
  9. Thanks for the replies. I don't mind waiting a few days, looking forward to being able to finish the tutorial.
  10. I've followed the tutorial for the helmet. The first version became a bit of a mess, due to me trying out all kinds of things. Took me quite some time to follow the tutorial. Once done with the tutorial, I started over again and was able to paint the helmet in just over 2 hours. Here's the result, I'm really pleased with it. The first image is a render from 3D Coat, the second one from Poser 8. The last images also shows the shield, which I redid in 3D Coat to match the helmet.
  11. Kind of cool, I like the self portrait.
  12. I'm following the Getting started with 3D Coat helmet tutorial and it has been very helpful for me. I'm at the last step now, adding metal plates to the neck cover of the helmet: My link Unfortunately I can't find those cool looking metal plate strips in 3D Coat at all and they're not supplied with the tutorial, like some other things are. Does anyone know where I can get find these strips, or does anyone still have them, so I can use them and finish the tutorial and my model? Any help would be appreciated a lot! Here's an image of them:
  13. Thanks for the comments Something like this? Rendered in Poser Pro 2010, castle and armor items(obviously) are mine, girl and dragon are extra content, created by others.
