V4.5 BETA (experimental)

I thought my Mac mini's crash is due to the big size of the polygon. -
But the "drops Smart Material" is bought too.
-
Just got them, thank you. BTW, how come the name of "drops Smart Material" does not have MB_ in front of the dops?
-
I like this. A lot of programs have put ridiculous limits on their users. Some of them even have very un-friendly copy-protection that make upgrade computer very in-convenient.
-
If someone use these smart material to texture their own models. Can he sale the model with the textures?
-
Sorry. I did not mean that......

Thank you, Carlosan. http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Smoothing_Groups

Test for the arch.obj which Dreamcube017 created using LightWave. The model is supposed to look like this DAZ Studio display it wrong too. After using triple command before exporting from LightWave 3D 2015 arch trpled.obj DAZ Studio display like this: But 3D-Coat still get it wrong:

Thank you, carlosan. BTW, the .obj is directly exported from the LightWave 3D 2015. I have checked the statistics.
-
Thank you, digman. I just learn that the exporting from LightWave for using with other program needs take special care on these "edges & polygon".

While I am tring 3D programs, I exported a cube from LightWave 3D 2015 and then imported into 3D-Coat, I found there are some strange edges on the edge of the cube. How come? PS: I have tried DAZ Studio and Zbrush, they do not have same problem.
-
Export from LightWave to 3D-Coat.

Nothing shown up after clicking the custom models in the right panel.

Thank you, digman. But why put that kinds of limit on the model? -

Which way you import the model? Do you use Mac version 3DCoat? -

OK. Here you go. PS: This simple model is created and exported using 3DCoat without decimating. Since the file is big and the model can be read by other 3D programs that I believe the 3DCoat may have problem in handling big polygons models. my circular fan 3 smooth.Obj -

OK. I will. (I need to take care my baby now......) PS: I was making some simple models as "parts" for assembling big models. If I did not decimate the polygon, the simple model just can not be loaded. -
