  1. It's not a glass creation problem, it's about 3D-Coat displaying issues. I've partialy resolved this with making object thinner, but still, that's not a proper behaviour with translucent materials.
  2. Hi, got some issues while trying to render flat shading. Previously I was using flat shading as a workaround for Clown Pass and it worked without problems, colours were flat as they should. Currently I get such a crappy results. It only looks normal when realtime rendering is off, but that doesn't matter, as final render gonna look like on the image.
  3. Hi, can someone tell me what is wrong with 3D-Coat transparent/translucent shaders? Trying to use glass like shader and allways get some weird view issues, no matter if it's a viewport or render room. 3D-Coat doesn't show layer/object that is directly behind glass, instead it shows layer that is behind the layer that is directly behind glass!?

  5. Hi, just noticed a bit strange behaviour of 3dconnexion in 3DC - space mouse reacts different in normal view and ortho. In ortho it behaves as I've set it, in normal/perspective view it works very rapidly, way too fast. I know there was some changes for 3dconnexion, but is it a normal behaviour, or maybe some workaround/fix for this issue?
  6. Hi, I have a bit of an issue with curves tool. I've created custom spline which is part o snake body, with different scales pattern on the front part and back part. Now, is there any way to apply this spline with just one aproach, without any weird bends and twists or am I forced to edit each curve point to make it right?
  7. Yes, Cintiqs are overpriced, no doubt, but... China devices aren't there yet. I wanted to save some money and tried couple of Huion's and XP-Pens, but non of this devices was close to my Cintiq Pro 24 - Huion Kamvas Pro 16 Premium is kinda close when it comes to color accuracy and refresh rate of the screen, but it's still just 16 inches in FHD and that's a deal breaker for me.
  8. Well, holding RMB works ok for me. I don't like to disable RTR, especialy with high poly meshes - Render Room becomes a bit sluggish, enable/disable can be really annoying.
  9. It would be great to have an ability for symmetrical cloth deformation.
  10. If 4.9.05 is last stable release, then I don't understand why 4.9.17 is on download site... it makes a bit of a confusion.

Version 4.9.23 - tooth paste tools destroys mesh in voxel mode(holes, etc.) Also, in last couple of versions, 3DC doesn't work well with 3DConnexion, especialy in Render Room with Real Time Render enabled - everything gets blurry with even tiny movement. Just tested in 4.9.05 and it works without problem.
  12. Sorry, but I don't even remember stable release anymore... it's always something messed up. I've been working with 3DC almost exclusively for over 2 years and... at the beginning it was fun, but when the real job began, it was very often a frustrating process.
  13. Guys, just a quick question about UI - is there a way to change spacing in top toolbar elements? I've set a shortcut to toggle Invert tool and the shortcut is visible and overlaping Innvert tool. Also a little sugestion... give us a option to move left tool panel to the right side.
  14. I know that, it's just a power of habbit to call this Layers. Anyways, just replace Layers with Vox Tree and whole problem is still relevant.
  15. Ok, I kinda know what is going on - I went to Paint Room, where I've found couple of layers and some where invisible. After enabling visibility I can sculpt in Sculpt Room. Funny thing is, I haven't created those layers. What's more, I don't have Sculpt Layers enabled, but I get depth painting anyway. p.s. I have color information on most of surface and voxel layers(this weird rainbow-ish icon).
  16. On fresh project(just a simple blobs) it works ok, for now... but all saved files from previous project are affected... I mean something around 30 files.
  17. Little update - all surface layers are affected. Basically, I can't do anything with all the sculpting I've made yesterday.
  18. Well, whenever I try to sculpt on an object(Sculpt Room, Surface mode) there is pop-up message on top of a screen "you attempt to paint on invisible layer..." and I can't do nothing. When I switch to Voxel mode it works ok.
  19. Ok, I don't know what is going on but once again I can't work on objects - there is always message that I'm trying to work on invisible layer... while it's visible and worked perfectly, atleast yesterday.
