  1. First of all, I would like to thank the developers who have been working hard to develop and fix the program. - New curve tool features.... - Fantastic combination of Pose Tool and Transform without gizmo.... I've been enjoying learning since I started 3DCoat at the end of last year Of course, I do feel some discomfort while using it. One of them is the numerical adjustment of parameters. Can you add a function to fine-tune the parameters of the tools? When I use the tool, I am faced with a situation that changes too rapidly when controlling the numbers. Although it can be adjusted with Spacebar or direct numerical input It feels inconvenient to enter the numerical value every time until the desired result is obtained. Attached here is an image of parameter adjustment in 3dsmax for example. ( watch the mouse movement ! ) You can adjust the intensity of numerical change by using Ctrl and Alt. If such a function is added, I think it will be much easier and faster to find the desired result than now. Thank you.
  2. Are you using a cintiq (display tablet)? In my case, the value of the window display was set to 150%, but it was solved by changing it to 100%. RMB-Display setting on the desktop The language will be different, but attach an image of the settings.
  3. I would like to be able to model more easily using Snap. The current Snap to Low-Poly Vertices seem to have limitations where they are used. In fact, I'm not sure where this feature works... Can you improve/add features about snap? -Place specific polygons and polygons in contact (I think it feels similar to the Fit function of Sculpt Room.) -Snap to the center of the polygon -Snaps to vertices or edges -Rotate and scale after moving the transform gizmo to a specific position using Snap -Or, if you need an exact [Pick] at a specific point like [General Case Axis] of Symmetry. (See image below) etc.. It seems that the work will be easier and fun.
  4. Test on 3DC 2021 B47 version Using - New curve with Bend Volume - Smooth point moving Issue - Lock normals is not work when using Smooth point moving Edit 01) Add test file below▼ Edit 02) Curve was created with Cut Slice and Simplify Curve Operation was used. -------------------------------------------- 2021 Curve Bend Volume test.3b
  5. OK, I'll keep it in mind. I think it need a warning or information about that 'Layer 0'
  6. Is this feature currently updated to 3DCoat??? In order to control the lightmap in the game object, we need the ability to recognize and modify UV2 individually, apart from UV1 (general texture). (Or even if it's not a lightmap, if you need UV3, UV4, etc...) Although it is possible to automatically generate UV2 maps on game engines such as Unity and Unreal. Sometimes the result is unwanted quality, or you need to adjust it by hand to optimize the UV placement. ---------------------------------- The following is the problem situation I am facing. I want to modify the texture of the object to which UV2 is applied I reloaded it with 3DCoat, but it does not recognize UV1, which was the original texture, and only UV2 is loaded, so the texture cannot be modified. Edit 01) Oh there was a feature voting...?? There seems to be no such feature yet, so I have to vote. hope that this feature will be added later.
  7. The sculpt layer sculpted on Layer 0 Can't it be erased with Erase SL brush? When I try to erase on Layer 0 it erases a completely different layer. Erase SL works fine for added layers such as Layer 1 and Layer 2.
  8. After shaving the modeling with Voxhide Unwanted objects appear when using Vox Clay. It worked fine in the V4 version.
  9. In order to match the working environment equally, UI and Hotkey settings are saved and loaded. I have seen that the list of tools registered with QuickAccess(1~8) is not being save and loaded. Where can I save and load QuickAccess?
  10. Sorry for using the translator.. Because the Merge Sub-tree problem did not occur with simple shapes I just wrote down if there were any problems in the process I was working on.
  11. It's fine when testing with simple shapes... I will further write down the situation when I worked on it. 1. Ruffle(frills?) creates polygons with the Loft Surface tool 2. After copying the Poly Groups made with the Loft Surface, I flipped one. so i have two poly groups : - PolyGroups1 (forth) - PolyGroups2 (back) // To give the thickness back and forth individually as much as I want.. // Shell or Extrude (one side) did not come out with the desired wrinkle thickness & shape, so I worked like this.. 3. After pulling out each of the desired thickness using Smart Extrude - ( Mode:Extrude Faces ), the two Poly Groups were merged ( Shift-Drag and Drop in Poly Groups panel ) and then the vertex was welded. 4. After performing Mesh-Make Sculpt Mesh in the top menu, I copied one sculpt object. 5. Arrange it in a circle in Sculpt-Room and touch the wrinkles with the Move tool (Through All Volumes ON). 6. I did a merge sub-tree. 7. And as stated above, things happened.
  12. After Merge Subtree, the mash breaks abnormally. At first, I thought it was a problem with the Powerful Smoothing brush after performing Merge Subtree as in the video. To upload a file for testing here The result of saving and reopening the file check There seems to be a problem with the Merge Subtree itself. When it's running, it looks no problem, but after Merge Subtree, quit the program and open the file again, the mesh is broken. ▼ The file is here ▼ After copying the backup layers, test the merge sub-tree. 2021 Ruffle.3b --- Edit 01 ) Merge Sub-tree test video has been added.
  13. Thank you Gorbatovsky! It’s not being controlled well as I want it to be, Now that I have a sense of what it is, I'll have to play around with it
  14. Does anyone know how to use the Cross Section of the Loft Surface tool in Modeling-Room? Even if I test it around, I'm not sure what this is or how it works..... If i move it after adding a curve to the cross section, only the polygons are twisted and destroyed...
  15. I was also confused when using it. Actually, I still don't know why it was made like this. Or maybe there's another way I don't know..... Rather than selecting a color directly, 3DCoat applies the colors of the palette in order each time the topology is divided. For example, the first basic topology is green The second topology is blue Third, magenta..... (*Sometimes the assigned color changes back to itself...) When dividing a seam, a color similar to that of the seam appears, or even though the topology is clearly divided, the color may look similar. In this case, a similar color was chosen from the palette. It can be solved by changing the color of the corresponding color one by one in the palette.
  16. Some UV tools in the Modeling Room do not work. - Mark Seams - Edge Loops UV Path works well It works fine in Retopo Room.
  17. Test in 2021 (B40) This is a curve option that appears in the Modeling Room. I only thought about the RMB menu, but I forgot that there was also something like this at the top.... Anyway It seems to be a function that fills the inside of the curve area with a quad or triangle face. Doesn't work. In the case of Triangle, it crashes. Do i need specific conditions? Or is it a bug?
  18. Testing was first performed on the B40 version. Crush happened and then I tried it on the V4 version. There seems to be something wrong with the beta version of the baking.
  19. After testing(B40), I have the same issue. In V4, it is baked fine with the same option. 2021_Bake test.3b ▲ Test file Edit 1) I tested it on two different computers [ Bake W/ Normal map (Per-Pixels) ] The baking process window will not appear and will immediately turn off. Edit 2) In V4, this message appears, but the baking proceeds fine.
  20. When Curve RMB - Attach tube or models array is applied and a point is inserted (double click on curve) on the curve the size of the added part is abnormally deformed. // Sorry guys It's not bug :p Lack of understanding of the tool.. Edit 01) OK, I found that it was affected by the size of the brush when insert point. Edit 02) Is there a way I can place points regardless of the size of the brush while tube/array? Edit 03) I found it. It's a little different what i wanted, but after selecting a point to transform the scale Curve RMB-Curve setting-Assing radius It is adjusted according to the currently set brush size. If nothing is selected, it is applied to the entire curve.
