  1. it is indeed a bug ... im getting same thing my end
  2. resolution is too low... not a bug jsut how voxels work , people explained and their answer were no good
  3. VOX extrude switches from voxels to surface mode while using the tool...
  4. yea them lines underneath makes no sense... but honestly voxels arent supposed to be a finish product... look at voxels like concept , it gives you complete freedom to model what you wants without having to worry about topology, if you want smooth finished product use surface mode as it wont destroy topology while sculpting, with the addition of quads soon the mesh will look alot better soon
  5. ill do a quick video ... its voxel engine and mask related.. anything where mask and voxels are used become unstable
  6. same... some of the ideas in the feature requests look amazing, and quad topology is finally coming cant wait ! and a proper polish tool for hard surface sculpting.. i can see 2023 being amazing... hopefully they raise the price to help with funding etc these guys deserve it
  7. vox layer has been broken since start of 2022 ... how ever .... if you change the vox settings to create a surface and not voxels then it works very well

  9. to leave an ngon ,flat face tri must be possible , an edge will try to flatten , happens everywhere except 3dc
  10. 3dcoat never gets scale correct.. its hard to set it up , i still have no idea what measurements work with other softwares ...
  11. its due to the separate objects.. but when i merge the to one object ... it crashes..
  12. no, not yet though ... i have been trying to get the guys to implement a tool like flatten smooth and keeps edges ... the one reason ill use zbrush most of the time is due to the polishing features it has ... you can tweak "flat polish" to be close but it does still interfere with surrounding planes ...
  13. also doesnt have an edge to tell the face where to align.. face without an edge wont do a 90 degree face, it will try to align a flat face or convert to 4 vertices ... thats just how every other software does it.. otherwise you get normal issues... when you import into another software the faces are deleted ... also sometimes ill delete an edge and use the whole created.
  14. weld vertices has some strange out comes... why don't we have merge vertices with options like other modelling software's... loft surface is so confusing lol! compare this to just selecting one edge and pressing "F" and it creating a face for you... i just spent 5 minutes bridging a simple gap ... i know they said they are working on the modelling etc so hopefully its one of the features for v2023...
  15. you're right... the edge deletes but the faces are still there.. which obviously cant happen.. hopefully they look into this
  16. wonder if they can move it? i mean we know its there but again new users not being able to navigate the ui properly.. its very confusing
  17. i think this is fixed in .57 deleting them edges cause the faces to be deleted too like normal
  18. could we add a feature to the trim adaptive tool.. where it takes away surfaces but not beyond certain certain angles above 15 degrees for example
