  1. I just discovered that the sphere tool, with Cubic interpolation on, used with the 'draw with curve' stroke mode is great : you can draw smooth curves

  4. With the latest Alpha (33) and on my work Pc (geforce 6800, Xp )i've got a funny bug when i enable 'Cast shadows' : I've got a lot of chinese characters displayed over the model, and the Fps is really slow
  5. in Alpha 32, DX mode; when incremental render is on, there's a display bug with the 3d gri. It's only visible when i sculpt, and it's flickering the previous bug is gone.(model disappear when i'm too close while sculpting) thanks.

  9. And please add a poly sculpting tool. Actually, smoothing a thin surface gives... blobs i tried to play with the spray/thaw tool, to emulate the poly smoothbut it gives uneven results, depending on the thickness of the surface.
  10. 2 bugs in V30 : When you draw a thin plane using the 2d plane tool, the normals on the border looks strange, when you look on 1 of the side of this plane If i use the carve tool NEAR the border of this mesh, the orientation of the brush is weird.
  11. i like both methods of changing the brush radius interactively. I just want to change side and depth using different shortcuts.
  12. A double sided 2d tool. I can drw in space with the sphere tool, but the sphere Z coordinates is not constant when i draw over a model.
  13. 2 bugs in V27 : The sphere tool and the 2d tool are buggy when the Soft Stroke or the Use spacing are enabled. The grow on pen motion of the airbtush tool dosen't seems to have any effect

  15. I like the carve tool because it's the only tool able to cover a surface with a kind of layer (the thikness is controlled by the depth value), removing little bumps and holes. I zbrush, i use a lot the clay brush, as it allo me to add or remove depth to a model, while keeping it smooth. the carve brush do the same job, except that i always need to smooth the surface after i use the carve. Thz zbrush clay tool is able to remove a layer : the more similar tool in 3dc is the Scrape tool. i can't control the depth of the removed layer, but the surface after i used the scrape is clean and smooth Used in substractive mode, the carve tool actually gives to the model a chiseled look that i like. keep it like that. I'd really like to have a kind of carve tool to add or remove a layer (the depth if this layer could be controlled by the depth value) that leaves a surface as smooth as the scrape tool, regardless of the tiny holes and bumps of the original surface. With that tool, 3dc will have an extensive toolset.hope I hope also that we will be able to use the brushes with all the available strokes mode (stamp, draw with curves
  16. I've got an issue in voxel sculpting : select the carve tool, set the Use spacing to ON, and the spacing to 10 draw QUICKLY some strokes : the strokes goes inside/through the model
  17. Bug on V26 : i painted slowly with the airbrush, using a constant depth and radius, and a pattern appeared on the model. I can barely notice that from time to time with the clay brush too. I like the way the spray thaw works, and the rendering bugs are gone.

I order to scale up and down the voxel sculpting, i'd like to be able to - convert the voxels to polygons (already done) -when i clear the scene, i'd like to be able to select as a new model (and scale it up and down) the previously generated polygon mesh The Increase resolution has a problem : the voxels are not interpolated, and the model looks faceted

I've got some renderingissues with my home Pc (intel core 2 6420 2.13 Ghz, 3.25 Go ram, Xp 64, Quadro FX 1500) When i render in Dx mode, the screen fades slowly to the background gray; I can see some shadows rotating around the model., then nothing happens. I can excape the render by pressing Esc In GL mode, the render works fine, but i can't escape to go back to sculpt mode

To prevent breaks in the stroke when the tablet pressure change quickly, and when you use a pressure-dependant stroke, could you add an option to smooth brush radius changes and opacity over time ? Another important thing : very often, when i smooth a thin voxel surface, this surface collapse/disappear. to avoid that, could you add the old 2D smooth brush to the voxel toolset ?
