Hi all, Andrew, do you think it's a good idea to have coloured voxels brushes? Maybe it's possible to create a colour map while sculpting. -TOXE

Yes, cavity problems, i havent found the right words. About convert polys, it don't dislapy any dialogue window. With increased resolution i have in most cases strange polygons and with normal resolution a simple sphere, but sometimes the correct model. It gave me random results. Sorry, i'll try to post a video. -TOXE -

Hi Andrew, yes work very fine, especially when increase resolution and smooth all, all the brushes are more effcient and the general performance is very very good, but: -convert to poly don't work -undo on snake work only one time -the red wax shader don't work correctly -TOXE -

Good! I hope that the rule of two windows versions=one OSX is always valid;-) Hope also to be able to convert correctly from voxels to polys... -TOXE -
I'm a user of Carrara since metacreations days, but you're right SSS it's not easy to set. With modo you can reach a better result in 1/2 minutes (on my system)... BTW the result is good! -TOXE

Hi Andrew, just tried the new alpha, the convert to polygons don't work: a windows appear for 1 second, after it's impossible to use any tools in voxel mode. The good news is that the smooth function and all the brushes work very well, really much faster! That's all for now, too much tired this evening to do other tests... -TOXE -

You provided two important link for the mac community. Maybe also Softpedia and the Apple site in the app section can be good. Andrew, the most important italian 3d magazine will be interested for sure writing a review of 3D coat, in my opinion it's a good thing send something to Antonio De Lorenzo (that is a very kind guy) to adl@imagonet.it. -TOXE -

Eheh, Maggot, with Bootcamp you can use Windows as main system (and startup disk), it's not an emulation... -TOXE -

If you will be able to convert a scuplted figure into quads, you will start a little revolution. BTW thanks for your constant passion and attention. You're on my personal top ten of this year with my daughter and a few others -TOXE -

Hi Andrew, thanks for the link, i've missed that discussion... It runs much faster, maybe not so fast as i expected but is good. About retopo, i think it's much better to have an additional window with parameters to set the number of triangles when i'm converting geometry. Without it we can have the same problems like in Zbrush where some operations are not so intuitive... I think the whole workflow of 3D coat is better than ZBrush -TOXE
