  1. Good ideas.I have thought about these techniques as well. You can achieve similar actions using the pose tool/select with pen option, but using lines and verts as control points would open more possibilities. One of the difficulties in modeling with voxels is precise manipulation of the surface, these "control cages" would help immensely.
  2. Coffee Break While your listening to that old time radio, why not pour yourself a nice cup of our fresh brewed coffee, made from the finest beans around.Quality since 1859.
  3. Cathedral Radio Before the TV, families would gather around the radio. My wife and I recently purchased a replica of one of these radios. We light a fire and some oil lamps, turn off the Edison lights and drift back to a simpler place and time.
  4. Jet Mostly E-panel and primitives.
  5. I'm sure I'll run into something,.Air comes to mind,LOL.
  6. Screwdriver Simple primitives
  7. yep,you can put a whole loaf of bread in one if it's big enough.
  8. I guess I'll start to post some more work here. Bagels are ready
  9. This has been really bugging me.(Should have reported it earlier),been busy. When working with long vox tree performing any action in tree will cause window to pop back up to top, forcing me to keep scrolling down to my last position in tree. This is really annoying and time consuming when working with 50 or so layers and cloning, adding sub object, undoing... When working in Coat for 8 hours a day this is buggy. This window positioning error also occurs when using merge tools and selecting different profiles. I beg of you, please fix this so I don't pull the rest of my hair out. Thank you.
  10. Fruit and Baskets Been working on a few more ambitious projects lately, thought I'd try something fun.I may continue to work with this one, not yet sure. Model, texture, render 3d-coat
  11. Is it possible to paint color and displacement directly on the maps that are applied to the vox mesh. Would this allow us to combine displacement map sculpting with voxel sculpting.Seems like it would be better then subdividing the voxel sculpt really high to get fine details. And painting color and specular on a a texture applied to the vox sculpt would better then direct voxel painting. Yes, no, maybe so?
  12. I'm with you Taros. Is it possible to "bind" the pose line with curves? So basically you would draw out the skeleton of your model with curves, then in the curve option pallet you would have a check box to add the pose influence to a particular part of the curves, for instance knee to ankle. The check box would allow you to click two curve points where influence begins and ends. Then the curve line would be bound to the curve/mesh like it is now using select with line. But the selection line is bound to the curve. Perpendicular to the selection line is an influence slider which allows you to drag the area of influence intuitively. Being able to save out the curves allows you to reload the curves and continue posing in the same manner. Of course the standard pose methods would be retained for quick adjustments.
  13. Very impressive Markus!Excellent anatomy and overall nice forms.I can see the voxel gallery expanding already.
  14. This would be nice.Using the curve tool could be good for placing points where you want the copies to be placed.I'm thinking along the lines of Hexagons copy on support feature which is really cool. Of course normal array would be nice too.
  15. Ability for curves to wrap around an object. -Create a couple of points and click closed. -Points are added incrementally around object -Align points (like the To line feature in paint mode.) Thank you.
