Contributor ajz3d Posted February 12, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted February 12, 2013 Is it possible to change the freeze pattern from checkered texture to something else, like to a custom texture, shading (grayscale or RGB)? After working for half an hour zoomed in on the pattern I feel like my eyes are about to explode. Also with the checker I can't really tell whether I have frozen everything to 100% or some semi-frozen areas still remain. Thanks. EDIT: Oh, I think I've found that checker texture file. It's in \textures\checker1.tga. I will try to change it to something else and see what happens. Nope, that's not it. The checker remains. Under the Freeze pulldown is an option "Toggle freeze view" (Alt+F) this will toggle through different display modes for the frozen area. The black works well. Different shades of gray for different Freeze degree (sold black is 100%)
