Advanced Member bobzilla Posted August 31, 2008 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 I can't figure out how to remap this, but can the "OK" also be triggered by the Enter Key as well as or instead of the Return Key? I know I'm being picky, but I usually use the Enter Key for confirming requests. Thanks.

Advanced Member bobzilla Posted September 1, 2008 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 The ENTER key is on the lower right of the keypad right next to my mouse had, so it's a little quicker to just hit that. I think a lot of applications have it so you can use both RETURN and ENTER to end a request (OK).
Advanced Member wailingmonkey Posted September 1, 2008 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 bobzilla, On my Saitek keyboard (US) the 'return' key is called "Enter" and the numberpad 'enter' key is also called "Enter". (dunno if the internal code flag is exactly the same, but the printed key labels are equal) They both work to close out the 'ok' dialog box in 3dC for me.... perhaps your manufacturer's keyboard has coded the numberpad 'enter' with a non-standard name? (so 3dC code is not realizing the numberpad 'enter' should work the same) Maybe sharing the brand/model would help, or if it's intended to be used with a different language (dunno if that effects how the keys are coded to operate)? Guess if it's too big an irritation and Andrew can't code around it you could always upgrade your keyboard. (prolly not the cheapest solution, but a solution)
Advanced Member bobzilla Posted September 1, 2008 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 It's the Apple keyboard that came with my iMac. Yeah, not that big a deal, but just thought I'd mention it.
