Member Cloner Posted July 16, 2013 Member Report Share Posted July 16, 2013 In V4, if I do autopo - I can see the mesh in retopo room, however, if I try to add mesh manually, I can't view the polygons. However, the polygons are being added as shown in the face count and triangle count at the bottom - but, can't see the faces. I went back to 3.7, I can see the mesh when I add it manually in retopo room. In V4, I can't see it. I reset all settings to default in V4 - no change in behavior. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Member Cloner Posted July 17, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted July 17, 2013 I pushed up z bias up to 10 in increments - no luck. I am sure I have got something wrong.
Member Cloner Posted July 17, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted July 17, 2013 Things become visible if I turn off symmetry manual mesh is not being visible with symmetry on Should it be that way, or should I be able to add polys manually with symmetry on? Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted July 18, 2013 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 Ok. Check INVERT MIRROR in the toolbar, at the top of the UI, and see if that works for you. Typically, 3D Coat will only let you work in the positive side of the plane and in virtual mirror mode, it shows you a live preview of the result. But you can switch which side is mirrored.by checking/unchecking that option http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z5h8T0c7BU&list=PLlQ3JITh9bXOfcZqGuO8gClZisN6yUd1x&index=
