Member Voxelapocalypse Posted July 18, 2013 Member Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I came up with an idea for making the E Panel more "At-A-Glance" user friendly. It simply changes 6 of the Icons in the E Panel...ones that are the most important Imho, yet the absolutely most difficult ones to actually tell what they are..."At-A-Glance". Everytime I open the E Panel I cringe a little when I see the original Icons for 6 brushes. All the other Icons LOOK like what they are/do...these don't. I post this in the hopes that Andrew may agree and put new Icons in for these. (Original Icons on the RIGHT, compare to my suggested Icons on the LEFT...) Thanks 3DCOAT ON Edited July 18, 2013 by Voxelapocalypse
Advanced Member Pix Jigsaw Posted July 19, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 I agree that those first icons in the e-panel don't visually capture their function, That said, I don't understand the picture in your post. It is a picture of the Brushes panel, not the E-panel

It is a picture of the Brushes panel, not the E-panel My bad...I meant the BRUSH PANEL. I mean, I have them memorized by now basically, but they are not "At-A-Glance" noticable as to what they are/do except maybe the donut shaped Brush. With the simple addition of the Brush Icons like they appear when in use (and in my GIMPed image), especially new users would have the benefit of seeing "At-A-Glance" what they are/do. It would be a nice visual prompt to differentiate those 6 Brushes...in the BRUSH PANEL. Edited July 19, 2013 by Voxelapocalypse

Advanced Member Pix Jigsaw Posted July 19, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 I see now. Your version does provide more information. I'm guessing the brush panel automatically generates the brush image from the brush alpha.
