Advanced Member Pix Jigsaw Posted August 15, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 15, 2013 What format do you need a mod to be in to import it into Battlefield 1942" 3D Coat is pretty powerful and flexible and exports to a lot of different formats. Carlosan
Hmmm.... they used Gmax Gmax requires the Battlefield Mod Development Toolkit 'gamepack' to work with BF1942 models. The files that the gamepack directly interacts with are .sm for standard mesh, .rs for shader, .baf for animation, .ske for skeleton, .skn for skin, and .tm for tree mesh. There are also options in the gamepack UI required to properly work with the models. Most of the gamepack is made up of .ms files which are plain text. The BMDT is available on Filefront here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/3593215/Battlefield-Mod-Development-Toolkit-v2.5g
