Contributor Malo Posted October 11, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Hi Bad topic i know, but i dont know how to call it without writing a big dialog. What i am asking for is, is it possible to merge all objects into the paintroom with AO and Normalmap, but not every or only seclected objects should be affected by an other object? At this time i do this manualy. I hide the objects that should not affectet the main objects. Example. I have two retopo groups one for the eyes, one for the head. Both get unwraped and placed on the same Uv-Set. If i now merge into the paint room, the eyes get some normal and AO from the head and the head gets some normal and AO from the eyes. Like here Left is baked with both objects, right is baked separatly. You see the ugly stripes on the eye on the left side. Is there a way to do this automacly or have i still to do every object separatly for the merging? I hope i could explain it correctly. Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted October 11, 2013 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted October 11, 2013 Maybe try the sequential texture baking tools (uses Voxel Layer - Retopo layer naming correspondence). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJDNyLKGGaU&list=PL0614F2A03AD725CD&index=
