Member lionclaw Posted September 25, 2014 Member Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 This is my first model I have made using 3d coat, I've only had it for a few days so I still have a lot to learn. What do you think and how could I improve?

Javis
Good first try. I remember when I first started 3D, it was incredibly difficult to make anything remotely non-primitive looking. My only two bits, and I'm sure this goes without saying... But keep practicing! It's the most important thing.
Advanced Member Aleksey Posted September 26, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 good first effort! the best way to learn i found, is to find art you like and copy it. And compare your work with their work. That way you will figure out what it is that makes their work appealing and then be able to implement that in your own original creations. sometimes its really difficult to figure out what is lacking in your own original creations when you are starting out. with a tangible goal to strive to, it makes it much easier to improve.
