Member MartianGirl Posted December 5, 2014 Member Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 Hi everyone, Total noob to 3dcoat. Loving the retopology tools. My noobie question is...... I have several seperate OBJs that I have retoped that are parts of a character, shoes, helmet, armour, head etc is there a way to get all the seperate uvs onto one texture map in 3dcoat? I want all the OBJs to remain seperate, is this possible? Thanking all your big CGI brains in advance Martian Girl
Contributor Solution Tony Nemo Posted December 5, 2014 Contributor Solution Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 A "texture map" and a UV map are the same. Right now you have retopoed objects. Are they :Unwraped? This will apply them to the UV map labeled "Default" (unless you have changed it). So when you "Unwrap", your objects will all be on the same UV map (AKA "texture map"). They will all be separate on the map, and can be unwrapped and saved as separate OBJs.
