Member Speider Posted July 26, 2015 Member Share Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) It doesn't matter if import a model or just use the meshes in 3dcoat like the sphere or a cube the programming crashes after few mins of use. I use amd catalyst 15.7 drivers Edit:I apologize if this question is in the wrong forum section. Edited July 26, 2015 by Speider

Javis
Hi! Could you tell us what build of 3DC you're using? Try using the DX Non-CUDA build and let us know if that works. Also, what is your OS and system specs?
Member Speider Posted July 27, 2015 Author Member Share Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) I did just use the one that said launch 3dcoat i didn't bother the other builds. i have tried the DX one for a while now it hasn't crashed yet. and i see no point in using the CUDA one without Nvidia card. My specs Windows 8.1 Gpu: sapphire hd 7950 3gb oc gddr5 Cpu: FX 8350 Ram:16gb 4x4 corsair vengeance DDR3 1666mhz AMD catalyst driver 15.7 Edited July 27, 2015 by Speider

Solution Javis Posted July 28, 2015 Solution Share Posted July 28, 2015 Cool. Thanks for the info. Sounds like the GL build was giving you grief? I'd stick to the DX version sure. For Windows 10, I'm uncertain. I don't have it installed yet, but I will be installing it on my second workstation to run tests with 3DC on Win10. I'm expecting it to run without any issues, but you never know!

Now let's just hope 3d coat won't die tomorrow when I upgrade to windows
