Member trubetsk Posted July 31, 2017 Member Report Share Posted July 31, 2017 Hey guys, I'm curious why when I select two or more points on a lattice cage, it displays the transform gizmo in the spot between the points. However with just a single point selected, no gizmo is visible (although the point can be freeform dragged relative to the camera plane). I'm trying to move a single lattice point with with axis constraints. Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance!
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted August 1, 2017 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 1, 2017 Can you please send this example to Andrew (support@3dcoat.com)? I made this request a long time ago and nothing ever got done. It helps him understand the need/urgency when others make the same request. Member trubetsk Posted August 1, 2017 Author Member Report Share Posted August 1, 2017 Thanks, so it's a known issue and unsupported currently. I sent a line to support@3dcoat.com, hope that increases its visibility.

I was the one who lobbied Andrew to add multiple point selection with e-panel selection marquees like the freeform lasso, etc. But for some reason he didn't think having a gizmo for a single point was needed. He tries to answer so many requests, that he might not notice what we do, as we use the tools. That's part of the reason for the ongoing beta builds before point or major releases. To help refine the app and improve stability.
