[Bug] Saving a default paint and clay color for 3Dcoat - Not possible?

Update: Sorry i didn't update yesterday, was frustrated and tired with an approaching headache

When i installed the latest 2022.039 i still had the trial 2022.029 installed and for some reason they still coexisted on the HD, so not sure if this is what's happened that the trial ( that had ended ) interfered with the new install from working properly

I uninstalled all versions, cleaned out remaining folder and all files associated w 3DC, rebooted the computer and checked so no files or settings remained. Installed the latest version and rebooted again.

1.000.000  parameters that can be edited, scripted and configured to windling heights and back.. but a color that is hardcoded.. My brain hurts.

Sorry, removed both the follow up answer here.. No, the updates didn't do anything to solve the issue which is a bit weird.
