Options to avoid normal map seams ?

Hi,

Baking the normal map, some seams are still visible in 3D coat and lot more visible after exporting the model.

Is there some options that could avoid this issue, i did not see any padding option that would expand normal map on some pixel around UV islands for example.

Thanks.

I choosen Maya option for object and texture export and seems are no more visible.

Also i found a tutorial showing a way to fix seams by using a smear brush and smear around seams on the normal map texture.
I did not use that, but could be usefull if the issue would appear.

reducing seams showing in itself is a skill form , you can never remove normal map seams ... just how it is , but what you can do is mark seams along areas that will crease , like the armpit , or areas where changes occur like the shirt to skin etc

that with help reduce how much of the seam you see, a good look at unwrapping is go to sketch fab and look at professional examples of how they unwrap their objects
