'AddNew UV Set' doe not appear to change anything.

Hello

I am following a character course that uses 3D Coat for unwrapping.

Once the OBJ is opened, I convert the entire mesh 'To Planar' and then 'Pack UV' to have all the elements as separate islands. I then 'Auto Scale'.

The next step that is suggested is to separate the main body element as a UV set.

When I select 'Add New UV Set' nothing appears to change.

I am aware of the the requirement to 'Apply UV set' but this does not seem to effect the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the video Custodian. unfortunately it doesn't cover the issue that I am experiencing.

When I chose 'Add New UV Set' nothing happens. Even though I select a particular area to separate off, the entire mesh is still contained in the default.

Any other thoughts?
