Question about using a Stencil

Hi,

I like the idea of using the Stencil tool but wondering if there is a way to have it keep the same ratio regardless of my zooming in and out little bits here and there.

I also don't understand the reflect icon as when I click it nothing happens so I turned on symmetry and that's working fine.

I'm using Textura not the full program.

Thanks so much

Thank you.

So what does the reflect option do then?  I was assuming it was like using symmetry but seems to do nothing when I tested it out going in either direction so I gave up and just turned on Symmetry.

Also, this seems like perhaps a silly question but is there a way to use the Stencil to flood fill a layer?  I found my exported maps to be really bad, like in some areas the stencil laid down correctly, other areas looked stretched and other areas looked smeared.  So I'm back in Photoshop doing it the old school way as that's not something I could use.

Thanks again!
