Would like to suggest to support Krita like you do Photoshop. So 3DCoat export .kra files. It is free app and I found painting to be better experience than in PS.

Nothing crucial but would like this to happen at some point, if there is time for it.

You can export to Krita as other external paint app using the default .psd files using

Take note that Krita use a layer mask system different than Photoshop.

Layer masks in Krita use levels of transparency and not white & black mask. So because Krita mask internal design it not work as expected on Photoshop.

For Krita masks, color doesn’t matter like it does in Photoshop or 3DC... Only brush opacity on Transparency Mask.

This video provides an overview of the New Photoshop-style Layer & Clipping masks in 3DCoat and 3DCoat-Textura 2024.
They are also compatible with Layer Masks in Photoshop.
