Andrew Shpagin
Oliver Thornton shared many nice high quality brushes. You can download package there: http://www.3d-coat.com/files/OT_Brush_Pack.zip Brushes presented in native 3D-Coat's format - already with jitters settings! To install brushes you need unpack archive ith all content to 3d-coat-installation-folder\textures\patterns\ Folders from archive should lay directly in this folder. If you have done all correctly, you will see in pens folders list in 3D-Coat two new folders: OT_Mech_Details, OT_Sculpting Enjoy! Thank you Oliver! thumbnails:

Member Lawson Posted December 17, 2010 Member Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 There are a couple things missing from the directions above. First, the "Pens" show up in a window called "Brushes" (at least in version 3.5). Second, even if you have installed the OT_Mech_Details and OT_Sculpting folders correctly, you will not automatically see or have access to the brushes. To use the new brushes you need to click the tiny triangle on the top-right corner of the Brushes window. This gives you a menu. Click "folders" on the menu, and then select OT_Mech_Details or OT_Sculpting from the sub-menu. Now your brush icons will show and you can select the new brushes for use. To switch back to the default 3DC brushes, click the triangle icon, choose "folders" and then "default" from the sub-menu. Thanks Oliver for sharing your brushes.
