Advanced Member Ratchet Posted October 8, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 Well , when sculpting in voxels using symmetry, we use symmetry for retopology. -It would be really great to have symmetry fro the low poly model made from retopology in paint mode ! -And possibility to export the complete low poly model , not only one part of the symmetry ! The vertex of symmetry of the low poly model would be joined automatically ! Would be really a great time gain : caus that you , you won't have to export to another application, to make the complete model from the half of the symmetry. Another point : it could allow us to see if the generated normal map for the low poly model is ok on the edges of the symmetry : no seams ! Contributor artman Posted October 8, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 Andrew if when user press Apply Symmetry with an already Unwrapped piece of topology 3DCoat would copy/overlap the Uvs at the same time when applying the topology symmetry I think it would do the trick.
