Member goodrichm Posted November 10, 2007 Member Report Share Posted November 10, 2007 When in Sculpt Mode, the pen's shape is always round. It does not matter which pen is selected. This is with the sculpt mode set to "draw with pen" or "drag with pen". Is this the way it is suppose to work or is there an option setting I've got set up wrong? If this is the way it is suppose to work, then please add in a future update the ability to sculpt with either irregular and hard edged (square, triangle, etc.) shaped pens. In the user manual, and here on the forum, it is mentioned that you can use material or alpha while in Sculpt Mode. I do not see any difference when a material is selected or when it is disabled while in Sculpt Mode. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? If you use the Fill Tool to color a whole LightWave 9 object, with Depth Channel ON, and switch to Sculpt Mode, the object is covered with pits and bumps. When you go back to Draw Mode, everything looks ok again. However, when you export out to LW and bring it into LW9 Layout, the mesh shows all the pits & bumps. This only seems to happen if you have Depth Channel selected before switching to Sculpt Mode and only on LightWave objects. Thanks so much for the latest 2.01 SP1 update! This program ROCKS! This program is so easy to use. It makes detailing objects fun...MG
