Member Sam Posted May 20, 2010 Member Report Share Posted May 20, 2010 Hi all, I had geforce 8400gs and it is said to support CUBA. The newest driver was installed, but I still could not run CUBA version of 3d-coat. Why? Thanks in advance
Member Schnupps Posted May 20, 2010 Member Report Share Posted May 20, 2010 HE knows how to run CUBA!! Sorry couldn´t resist, it´s cuDa not cuba ;-) I can not help you with your problem though, but it will probably help others if you give more info. Like your OS, 32/64 bit, crash or no start of 3d coat at all etc.... Cheers, Schnupps
Member Racush Posted May 20, 2010 Member Report Share Posted May 20, 2010 haha oh man that gave me a laugh But there seems to be issues with CUDA from what I've run into I have yet to get my 480GTX to be happy with it in anyway. I did see problems back when I had my 9800GTX too but I was not able to really track down what it was.
Andrew Shpagin
You don't need to do something special to run CUDA version. You need latest drivers+3D-Coat CUDA version installed. But really it does not work on GTX 480, we are trying to solve this problem together with NVidia support team. So if you are using GTX480 then please use non-CUDA version until this issue will be fixed.
