Contributor artman Posted June 14, 2010 Contributor Report Share Posted June 14, 2010 3.3.04 dx 64 Im experiencing extreme slowdowns when merging to perpixel with nm from retopo menu(microvertex and Ptex speed is ok). Unwrapping and packing speed is alright,its baking speed that is slow. Something like 70000% slower....For a default 90k quadrangulated sphere it took five minutes. But baking tool is still very very fast....So I dont know what could be wrong. EDIT:ok ,it seems that speed slowdown only occur when "bake ambient occlusion" box is checked.
